Classic tour to Ladakh: A journey through a mythical land crossing the Himalayas up to Little Tibet


Classic tour to Ladakh is an ideal tour to immerse yourself into the gigantic Himalaya safely and with maximum comfort.

We will cross landscapes almost "extraterrestrial" on the Manali-Leh road that we do in five days, an Himalayan Ecotourism exclusivity.

Selected hikes are absolutely stunning, easy and generally reserved for those who trek for days.

We will visit some of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, without rushing for trying to see everything. And finally, we will not miss the magic of the Tso Kar lake and the Nubra valley.

Children are welcome. The little ones may stay at the camp during the hiking days.

Camp by the side of the beauitiful high altitude lakes of Tso Kar. Travel over the highest motorable road over the Khardung-la pass into the Nubra valley to see Bactrian camels and remnants of the Silk Road.

Hike up to an exceptional point of view on the Tso Kar Lake.

For magnificent views of the deep blue high altitude lake.

Our classic tour to Ladakh
   This itinerary is customizable. Please enquire.
Day 1 You reach Manali either on your own or with our assistance from Delhi. Night in a hotel (2000 m).
Day 2 From Manali to Keylong via Rohtang pass. 6 hours drive. Night in a hotel (3100 m).
Day 3 From Keylong to Patseo. 1.5 hours drive. Acclimatization day. Night under tents (3770 m).
Day 4 From Patseo to the Tsarap valley via the Baralacha pass. 4 hours drive. Night under tents (4170 m).
Day 5 From the Tsarap valley to Tso Kar lake via the Lachulung pass. 6 hours drive. Night under tents (4600 m).
Day 6 From Tso Kar lake to Leh via the Tanglang pass. 5 hours drive. Night in a hotel (3500 m).
Day 7 Day rest. You use this day to visit the town and/or some nearby monasteries (Thicksey). Night in a hotel (3500 m).
Day 8 Visit of the monasteries on the west side of Leh. Alchi and Likir. Night in a hotel in Leh (3500 m).
Day 9 From Leh to the Nubra valley via the Khardungla pass. 5 hours drive. Night under tents or in a hotel(3100 m).
Day 10 From the Nubra valley to Leh via the Khardungla pass. 5 hours drive. Night in a hotel in Leh (3500 m).
Day 11 Morning flight from Leh to Delhi.
