Our website contains extensive information about all our destinations and experiences. Take your time to explore the areas and activities that interest you.

Once you have a good idea of what you would like to do, send us your preferences through the “Enquire” button available on each page.
Before preparing a customised trip package, we will reach out to you for a short discussion – by phone, WhatsApp, or email – to clarify your expectations and ensure every detail is aligned with your needs.

After this conversation, we will share a tailored trip proposal that includes the services required for your journey.

How to book ?

1. Booking Amount

50% of the total tour price is payable at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

This amount allows us to make advance arrangements with our local partners and service providers.

2. Balance Payment

The remaining 50% of the tour price must be paid no later than 20 days before the start of the trip.

For last-minute bookings (made within 15 days of departure), 100% of the tour price is payable at the time of booking.

Payment from inside India

It is quite straightforward. You can either pay the required amount by bank transfer to the Heco’s bank account mentioned below or use the Gpay link.

Payment from outside India

Please note that international money transfers typically incur fees charged by your bank or chosen payment gateway.

Our trip charges are in INR (Indian Rupees). Please make your payment to the Heco bank account, detailed below. Direct transfer of money from your account to the Heco account is the cheapest mode of payment and it is very secure.

To do so, you may have to visit your bank or give them a call. International payment procedures vary, so don’t hesitate to contact your bank for guidance.

Alternatively, you can use the online platform Remitly whose link is available under the section “Payment from outside India” below.

Once we receive your payment, we will inform you of the exact amount received in INR. Any necessary adjustments can be settled in cash upon your arrival.

You can register us as a beneficiary using the bank details provided below, or simply use the GPay QR code.

Payment from outside India

If you are making a payment from outside India, please transfer the amount to Heco’s bank account (details below) or use the Remitly payment gateway (follow the instructions mentioned below).

Our trips are charged in Indian Rupees (INR).
If your bank does not allow transfers in INR, you may need to convert the amount into a supported currency (such as EUR or USD) before sending the payment.

Please note that Google’s exchange rate is not the rate applied by banks. Banks usually add a small margin to the mid-market rate.
For example, if Google shows 1 EUR = 100 INR, it is safer to calculate using 1 EUR = 96 INR to ensure the correct amount reaches us.

The same logic applies for any other currency, simply use a slightly more conservative exchange rate to cover bank fees.

Don’t worry about small differences. Minor discrepancies can easily be settled upon your arrival :

  • If we receive a little less, you can top it up then.
  • If we receive a little more, we will refund the difference.

Cancellation & other information

Cancellation policy

We value your travel plans, but we also make significant advance arrangements with our local communities, guides, and service providers. To balance fairness for our guests and our partners, the following cancellation policy applies:

1. Cancellation within 7 days of the trip start date

No refund will be provided.

2. Cancellation between 8 and 15 days before the trip start date

40% of the trip price will be retained, and no refund shall be made for this amount.

The balance (if already paid) will be refunded.

3. Cancellation more than 15 days before the trip start date

The entire amount paid shall be refunded after deducting :

  • 15 percent of the trip price as administrative charges, and
  • Any actual expenses already incurred by us to make advance arrangements with local partners and service providers.
4. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Events

In case the trip is disrupted or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, road blockages, strikes, or pandemics):

Guests will be offered the option to reschedule the trip within 12 months, subject to availability. The paid amount minus the unavoidable expenses already incurred (such as permits, bookings, and arrangements with local partners) will be utilized for the postponed trip.

We kindly ask for your understanding in such situations. During force majeure events, the tourism industry is among the hardest hit, with widespread cancellations that can endanger the very survival of enterprises like ours.

We are deeply grateful for your support during such challenging times.

Medical and personal information form

We are very much concerned about your health, safety and comfort.
In order to avoid unrequired situation and reduce the risk of any misfortune due to any medical issue, you are requested to fill in and submit this medical form.

Release of Liability and travel insurance

Himalayan Ecotourism and its representatives/subcontractors are released from any liability or claim with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, property loss, or property damage that may happen during any activities that we organize for you.
While choosing our services [tours, treks and travel offerings] you agree to release us from any liability as mentioned in the form below.
