Nar Phu Valley Trek
Nar Phu Valley
An off beat trek destination in Nepal
The Nar Phu Valley Trek is a remote and off-the-beaten-path journey in Nepal’s Annapurna region, ideal for experienced trekkers, adventure seekers, and cultural explorers. This trek offers a mix of high-altitude trekking, Tibetan Buddhist culture, and stunning Himalayan landscapes.
Starting from Dharapani (1,860m), the trail diverges from the Annapurna Circuit at Koto, leading into the restricted Nar and Phu Valleys. Trekking through deep gorges, medieval villages, and ancient monasteries, you’ll reach Phu (4,150m), where locals still practice traditional Tibetan lifestyles. The route continues to Nar Village (4,110m), before crossing the challenging Kang La Pass (5,322m), offering breathtaking views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The trek then descends into Manang (3,540m), reconnecting with the Annapurna Circuit.
This trek is perfect for those seeking wilderness, cultural immersion, and a high-altitude adventure. With its untouched landscapes, fewer crowds, and historical significance as a former Khampa warrior training ground, Nar Phu remains one of Nepal’s most unique trekking experiences.
Ruby Valley Trek
The Ruby Valley Homestay Trek takes you through hidden valleys, untouched trails, and remote villages in the Ganesh Himal region, located between the Langtang and Manaslu Conservation Areas. This trek is centered around indigenous Tamang communities, where travelers will experience authentic cultural immersion through homestay accommodations and traditional lifestyles.
Unlike commercial trekking routes, Ruby Valley remains an off-the-beaten-path experience, providing stunning views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu, and Tibetan peaks. Trekkers will pass through diverse landscapes, from lush terraced fields and dense rhododendron forests to alpine highlands and high mountain Pangsang Pass (3,900m), one of the most scenic high-altitude viewpoints, offering unparalleled panoramas of snow-capped peaks.
Throughout the trek, you’ll witness age-old traditions, from yak cheese-making in Gatlang to mineral-rich landscapes in Somdang. One of the most fascinating cultural experiences is visiting Tipling, a remote Christian-majority village in the Himalayas, showcasing a unique blend of faith and tradition in a Buddhist-dominated region.
This trek is categorized as easy to moderate, making it accessible to all fitness levels while still offering spectacular scenery and deep cultural experiences.

Khopra Ridge Trek
Khopra Ridge Trek is located in western Nepal and northeast of Pokhara. The Khopra Danda Trek borders the districts of Myagdi and Kaski and is relatively close to the village of Ghorepani in Dhaulagiri rural municipality. The Khopra Ridge trek is a community lodge-based trek, so many also know this trek as the Khopra Ridge community trek.
Khopra trek is situated in the Annapurna region. This trek is one of the shorter, less popular, and moderate treks in the Annapurna region.
You walk two whole days on this ridge. So for two days, there are big mountains on either side of you. Then there is the sense of adventure. On the Khopra Ridge trek, you climb to Khayer lake, which is at around 15,700 feet. Getting to an alpine lake at this altitude is thrilling and adventurous.
You see great views from even inside your tea house. Just like any other trek in Nepal, the Khopra Ridge trek has tea houses all along the trail, where you stay for the night. They’re almost luxurious compared to other treks where you camp.
We can enjoy our trek by the breathtaking views of peaks like Dhaulagiri (8167 m/), Annapurna I (8091 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), Annapurna II (7937 m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7455m), Tukuche peak (6920m), Dhampus Peak (6012m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Gurja Himal (7193m), Nilgiri Himal (7061m),

Mohare Danda Trek

Enjoy mesmerizing views of peaks like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manasalu
The Mohare Danda Trek is yet another lesser-known journey through Nepal’s Annapurna region. Unlike the busier routes of Ghorepani Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp, this community-managed eco-trail allows you to explore pristine forests, traditional villages, and panoramic Himalayan views while directly supporting local communities through sustainable tourism.
Enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of Annapurna 8091, Dhaulagiri 8167 m, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Nilgiri, and Manaslu 8163 m from Mohare Danda (2,880m). Sunrises and sunsets here are absolutely magical, with the peaks glowing in dawn and dusk.
